Welcome to San Francisco, our adopted home…
We are excited to announce that the Westin St. Francis is our official wedding guest accommodation hotel.
Located in the very heart of San Francisco, just steps away from cable cars and the famed Union Square. Built in 1904, the Westin St. Francis has been a central part San Francisco history and lore. Earthquakes, Hollywood scandals, Jazz Age, royalty, strikes, politics’ and an attempted presidential assignation...oh my!

SAN FRANCISCO BY AIR
We recommend visitors from outside California and the Bay Area book flights for arrivals at either San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK).
Lombard Street
SAN FRANCISCO BY CAR
We highly recommend our traveling guests avoid renting a car while visiting San Francisco. San Francisco is a busy city with limited parking and expensive parking in high tourist areas. We encourage guest to use taxis, App based car services (Uber, Flywheel, Lyft), or public transit (Cable Cars, Muni, Bart) to get around in the city.
For those that plan to drive to the bay area instead of fly we recommend that you avoid parking at your hotel during your stay as this can be expensive (the Westin St. Francis is $71 a day or $12 an hour). We would suggest that you park at a Union Square parking garage nearby (parking rates are $34-36 a day). For a listing of nearby garages and a map visit (http://unionsquareshop.com/parking.html).
Wedding guest shuttle service to and from the Westin St. Francis to Congregation Emanu-El will be provided before and after our wedding. Shuttle schedule details to follow.
The Ferry Building. Farmers Market every Saturday, a must for foodies.
WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN SAN FRANCISCO?
Lots! We have put together guides to some of our favorite things to see, experience, eat, drink and shop while in San Francisco:
WEATHER IN SAN FRANCISCO IN SEPTEMBER
The months of September and October are some of the warmest and best times to visit our city. With few foggy days believe it or not, the weather is often warmer in fall than it is in the summer. Average temperatures rest in the mid 70 to low 80s, and consistently sunny skies inspire San Franciscans and tourists alike to head to the beach. But don't underestimate those bayside breezes. You'll want to pack a few layers just in case.
